Qualifications for Ares membership:
     1. A valid FCC amateur radio license
     2. A willingness to serve

ARES works with SERVED AGENCIES such as the American Red Cross
and the Salvation Army to provide communications, usually in an
emergency, however, participation in other public services such
as; Parades, Walk-a-thons, and Air shows also fall to this group.

Registration with the Emergency Coordinator does not commit you 
to any particular event. You have the option of participating or not.
